İsrailin Livana hücumu: 182 ölü, 890 yaralı

State flags have been lowered to half-mast over the presidential palace in memory of the victims of the Israeli attacks.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that on the afternoon of April 8, the Israeli military launched large-scale airstrikes targeting Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, and southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli strikes across various regions has reached 182, with the number of injured rising to 890. According to Reuters, the highest number of fatalities was recorded in the capital, Beirut, where 91 people were killed.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health further disclosed that between March 2 and April 8, the total number of fatalities has reached 1,739, while the number of wounded has climbed to 5,873. Lebanon has been embroiled in the Middle East conflict since March 2, following rocket fire into Israel by the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group. In response, Israel has conducted intensive ground and air operations against targets in Lebanon.

The ongoing escalation marks one of the most volatile periods in the region in recent years, drawing significant international concern regarding a wider regional war. Diplomatic efforts continue as global powers seek to de-escalate the confrontation between Israeli forces and Hezbollah militants, which has displaced thousands of civilians on both sides of the border and caused extensive damage to infrastructure in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.
