At least four people have been killed following an Israeli airstrike targeting a medical center in the Suri district of southern Lebanon.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), that the strike resulted in multiple casualties and significant damage to civilian infrastructure.

According to official reports, two emergency medical workers were among those injured during the attack. In a separate incident, an airstrike was conducted near a hospital in the town of Tebnine, southern Lebanon. This strike resulted in nine injuries, seven of whom were hospital staff members. The blast caused extensive material damage to the hospital building and several ambulances stationed at the site.

In response to the escalations, the Lebanese Hezbollah movement announced that it had launched retaliatory strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against Israeli positions in the south. Despite the ceasefire mediated by the United States, mutual attacks between Israel and Hezbollah continue to be reported, particularly in border regions and areas under Israeli operational control.

The humanitarian situation in the region remains critical. According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the death toll since the escalation of hostilities has approached 3,000, with thousands more wounded. International observers note that the targeting of medical facilities and personnel complicates relief efforts in a region already grappling with a severe healthcare crisis. The ongoing conflict has displaced hundreds of thousands of civilians, drawing widespread concern from the international community regarding the stability of the broader Middle East.
