Four Palestinians were wounded, one critically, in an Israeli drone strike in northern Gaza City on Thursday, medical sources told Anadolu Agency.

Witnesses said the drone struck a person walking past a cafe in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. The victim lost a limb and was in critical condition, they said.

Earlier, the Israeli army carried out demolitions and detonations in eastern Gaza City. Explosions were heard in several parts of the Gaza Strip.

In southern Gaza, Israeli warships fired more than 40 times along the coast near Rafah at intervals over about two hours, witnesses said. The shelling coincided with heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles and helicopters, with no casualties reported.

In southern Khan Younis, Israeli military vehicles were also more active, and troops fired toward tents sheltering displaced Palestinians, witnesses said.

The incidents came amid continued Israeli violations of a ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since Oct. 10, 2025.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said Israeli ceasefire violations had killed 1,505 Palestinians and wounded 5,332 others as of Thursday.

Since October 2023, Israel’s military offensive in Gaza has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 175,000 others, according to the ministry. It said the offensive had also destroyed 90% of Gaza’s infrastructure.
