"I express my gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, for condemning the attacks made by the Iranian state against Nakhchivan and for the support shown to our country in the spirit of brotherhood and alliance between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan," the post stated.
The diplomatic support from Astana comes amid regional tensions and highlights the deepening strategic cooperation between Turkic states.
