President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the "Rules for evaluating the effectiveness of digital solutions applied by state bodies (institutions) in test mode, as well as the implementation of regulatory pilot projects to determine the expediency of electronic services at the initial stage."
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the decree mandates the Cabinet of Ministers to resolve all necessary issues arising from the new regulations. The initiative aims to streamline the integration of digital tools within the public sector and ensure that new electronic services meet efficiency standards through rigorous testing before full-scale implementation.
The Republic of Azerbaijan has been consistently expanding its "e-government" infrastructure to increase transparency and accessibility of public services. This latest move is part of a broader national strategy to modernize the country's administrative framework and foster a more agile digital ecosystem. By implementing pilot projects and test-mode evaluations, the government seeks to optimize resource allocation and enhance the quality of online services provided to citizens and businesses in Azerbaijan.
