President Ilham Aliyev has addressed participants of the sixth Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition, “ADEX 2026,” and the 15th anniversary International Exhibition of Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment, “Securex Caspian 2026.”

I congratulate you on the opening of the sixth Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition, “ADEX 2026,” and the 15th anniversary International Exhibition of Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment, “Securex Caspian 2026,” and extend my heartfelt greetings to you in Azerbaijan.
It is gratifying to see the “ADEX” exhibition, traditionally held in Baku, become one of the region’s most authoritative and useful defense industry platforms. The growing interest in the exhibition each year, along with the participation of numerous countries and leading companies, clearly reflects the event’s relevance and international standing.
Bringing together defense industry institutions, military experts and companies from friendly and partner countries, this important international exhibition provides an excellent opportunity to display the latest technologies in various areas of the defense industry, modern weapons systems, military equipment and innovative solutions, as well as to discuss new cooperation opportunities and establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
Strengthening defense capabilities and ensuring national security are among the priority areas of Azerbaijan’s state policy. As a result of consistent measures, the defense industry of our country, which has undergone significant development, has entered a qualitatively new stage and substantially expanded its production capabilities. Defense products manufactured by local enterprises play an important role in supplying our Armed Forces and stand out for their competitiveness in international markets, attracting keen interest from relevant institutions in various countries. Azerbaijan’s achievements in the defense industry contribute to strengthening the country’s military and technical potential and deepening cooperation with friendly and partner states.
Today, the quality and reliability of Azerbaijan’s defense industry products are highly valued internationally. The “ADEX” exhibition is particularly important for presenting to the international community both the strength and potential of our country’s defense industry, including its innovative technologies, and the modern products and latest achievements of defense industry enterprises from our partners.
Held alongside “ADEX” and now taking place for the 15th time, the “Securex Caspian” exhibition has also earned a strong reputation as a specialized event showcasing advanced technologies in security, safety, rescue operations and emergency management.
I am confident that the “ADEX” and “Securex Caspian” exhibitions will make an important contribution to establishing new business contacts among participants and strengthening military and technical cooperation.
