A meeting of diplomatic advisors to the heads of state and government of the member and observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) has been held at the initiative of Hungary.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration. During the event, Hikmet Hajiyev also held a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts to discuss regional cooperation and mutual interests.
The Organization of Turkic States, formerly known as the Turkic Council, serves as an intergovernmental organization established with the objective of promoting comprehensive cooperation among Turkic-speaking states. Azerbaijan, as a founding member, plays a pivotal role in the organization's efforts to strengthen economic, cultural, and political ties across the Turkic world, particularly in the fields of regional transport corridors and energy security.
