Relations between Baku and Moscow are currently stable and developing within a framework of good-neighborly relations.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Presidential Assistant and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev made the remarks at the CAMCA 2026 Regional Forum in Baku.
“As for our immediate neighbors, geography is our destiny. Biologically, we cannot choose our parents, and in geopolitics, we cannot choose our neighbors. This is our destiny, and we have to live together. Therefore, I am pleased that relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are currently stable and normal, and are developing within a framework of good-neighborly relations,” he said.
