According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, as reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the intermittent heavy rain that began overnight from June 27 to 28 in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to gradually subside by the morning hours. Lightning is possible in some parts of the peninsula during the night. The strong north-westerly wind is expected to moderate by the evening.
Temperatures in the capital are forecast to range between 18-21°C at night and 23-27°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to rise from 759 mm to 762 mm of mercury, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 80-85% at night and 55-60% during the day.
Weather in the regions of Azerbaijan
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain and lightning are expected in several areas. Forecasters warn that precipitation may be intense and torrential in some locations, with a possibility of hail. Rainfall is expected to gradually cease in most regions by the evening. Fog is anticipated in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, accompanied by occasional strong westerly winds.
Temperatures in the regions are expected to be 16-20°C at night and 24-29°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will range from 8-13°C at night and 15-20°C during the day, reaching up to 23-26°C in some locations.
