Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to see variable cloud cover and mostly dry weather on October 9, although intermittent rain is forecast in some areas from the daytime.
The National Hydrometeorology Service provided the information to the “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
Rain may become intense and heavy in some parts of the peninsula in the evening, accompanied by thunderstorms. Fog is expected in some areas overnight and in the morning. North-easterly winds will prevail.
Temperatures will range from 15 to 17°C overnight and from 19 to 23°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will fall from 767 to 764 millimeters of mercury. Relative humidity will be 70% to 80%.
In Azerbaijan’s regions, intermittent rain is expected overnight and in the morning in eastern areas, and from the daytime in some other areas. Brief, intense showers, thunderstorms and hail are possible in isolated locations, while rain may turn to snow in mountainous areas in the evening. Fog is expected in some areas overnight and in the morning. Easterly winds will prevail.
Temperatures will range from 13 to 18°C overnight and from 20 to 25°C during the day. In the mountains, temperatures will range from 5 to 10°C overnight and from 13 to 18°C during the day.
