Between July 11 and 13, intermittent rainfall is expected across several mountainous and foothill regions of Azerbaijan.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the National Hydrometeorology Service, there is a high probability of short-term intense rainfall, lightning, and hail in specific areas.
The service further reported that water levels in rivers are expected to rise, with a potential for short-term flash floods in some mountain rivers. Residents and relevant authorities in these regions are advised to exercise caution due to the changing weather conditions.
The National Hydrometeorology Service, which operates under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, regularly monitors meteorological changes to ensure public safety. Such warnings are critical for the agricultural sector and for the safety of residents living in the country's diverse geographical zones, which range from the Greater Caucasus to the Lesser Caucasus mountain ranges.
