Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has held a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, to discuss pressing regional developments and bilateral cooperation.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing TRT Haber, that during the meeting, the two sides focused on a wide range of regional issues. Specifically, the ministers exchanged views on the current state of the ongoing discussion process between the delegations of Iran and the United States, led by US President Donald Trump's administration.

This high-level diplomatic engagement comes at a time of significant geopolitical shifts in the Middle East. Turkey and Iran, as two major regional powers, frequently consult on security matters, border stability, and economic interests. Such dialogues are considered vital for maintaining regional balance and addressing complex diplomatic challenges involving international stakeholders, including the United States.
