Germany has officially declared that it has no plans to enter into any open military conflict with Iran.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Johann Wadephul, a representative of the German Foreign Ministry, made this statement during an interview with "Deutschlandfunk" radio.

The diplomat noted that the German government does not intend to participate in these processes. He also emphasized that the country does not possess the appropriate military resources for such an intervention: "Germany will not join military operations in any way. Self-defense measures can only be taken if German soldiers are attacked. Berlin will not go beyond defensive steps."

Previously, Israel's "GLZRadio" station reported that Germany was considering the possibility of joining a war against Iran. However, official Berlin has refuted these claims, confirming that it will not act as a military party in the regional tensions.

This development comes amid heightened geopolitical instability in the Middle East, where Germany has traditionally advocated for diplomatic solutions and de-escalation. As a key member of the European Union and a signatory to previous international agreements regarding Iran's nuclear program, Berlin continues to prioritize multilateral dialogue over military confrontation to maintain regional security and prevent a wider escalation of hostilities.
