The winner of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix held in Baku has been determined.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Mercedes driver George Russell finished ahead of all his rivals.
He won the 51-lap race. Russell thus claimed the title in Baku for the first time in his career.
Max Verstappen of Red Bull finished second, while his teammate Isack Hadjar took third place.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is one of Formula 1’s street races, with drivers competing on a temporary circuit through the streets of Baku. The event has become a regular fixture on the championship calendar and is known for its demanding combination of high-speed sections and tight corners.
