Gas supply will be temporarily interrupted in some areas of Baku’s Khatai and Surakhani districts from 10:00 on Oct. 2 until repair work and efforts to fix a gas leak are completed.
Operative Information Center-OMM reported the matter, citing the Azerigaz Production Union of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).
According to the report, gas service will be suspended on A. Sahhat Street in Khatai district and on Nizami, A. Alakbarov, M. A. Sabir, M. Beydemirov, N. Narimanov, C. Nazarov, M anba, M. Abdullayev and S. Bah lulzade streets in the Bulbula settlement of Surakhani district.
Temporary service interruptions are required to allow utility crews to carry out maintenance and installation work and address the reported leak. The company said the outage would affect only the areas listed.
