The third free practice session of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix has begun.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the session started at 12:30.
The qualifying session for the main race drivers will also take place today.
On the previous day, Mercedes driver George Russell recorded the best time in both the first and second practice sessions.
The main race of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held on September 26.
Free practice sessions allow teams to assess car performance, tire behavior and track conditions before qualifying and the race. The Baku City Circuit is known for its long straight sections and demanding street-circuit layout, making qualifying position particularly important.
