Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has held a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, in Istanbul. The discussions focused on the deepening of strategic cooperation between the two nations.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the details of the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the 10th trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia.

The trilateral cooperation format between Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia serves as a vital platform for regional stability, energy security, and the development of major infrastructure projects, such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. These meetings are held periodically to coordinate foreign policy approaches and enhance economic integration among the three strategic partners in the South Caucasus region.
