On August 23, in Tashkent, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva held a private meeting with the First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ziroatkhon Mirziyoyeva, over tea.

During the meeting, the First Ladies discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The conversation highlighted the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties, which serve as a cornerstone for the deepening cooperation between the two nations.

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan share deep historical, cultural, and religious roots, which have significantly contributed to the development of a strategic partnership between the two countries in recent years.
