Feyenoord beat Como at home in the second round of the UEFA Champions League league phase. The Rotterdam side won 3-2.
Como forward Assane Diao opened the scoring in the 18th minute. Feyenoord’s Givairo Read equalized two minutes later. Anis Hadj Moussa put the hosts ahead in the 52nd minute, and Como goalkeeper Robert Sanchez scored an own goal in the 81st.
The result gave Feyenoord their first win in this season’s Champions League. The team, led by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, are 22nd in the standings with three points. Como, also on three points, are seventh.
