Fenerbahce Tarfin beat Dubai Basketball 76-66 in a basketball tournament. The Turkish team has now won all three of its games this season, while Dubai Basketball suffered its first defeat.
Fenerbahce Tarfin played accurately on offense in the first quarter, scoring four times from long range and building a double-digit lead late in the period. The team finished the quarter ahead 26-14.
Consecutive baskets by Baldwin in the second quarter extended the lead to 15 points in the 16th minute, making it 38-23. Dubai Basketball then went on a 9-0 run and cut the deficit to three points with 40 seconds remaining before halftime. The teams went to the locker rooms with Fenerbahce Tarfin leading 42-39.
The teams struggled to score during the first seven minutes of the third quarter. The Turkish side ended the period with a 55-51 lead, then held on through a tense final stretch to secure a 76-66 victory.
