An explosion occurred in a five-story residential building in the Badamdar settlement of Baku’s Sabail district.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed of the incident by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Units from the ministry’s State Fire Protection Service and Special Risk Rescue Service were deployed to the scene.
During an assessment of the operational situation, responders determined that, according to preliminary findings, an explosion occurred in a gas-powered appliance in the bathroom of an apartment on the building’s first floor.
Ministry personnel took the necessary safety measures at the scene.
One person was injured in the incident.
