European Union Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos has announced her intention to visit Armenia in the near future. The official confirmed her upcoming trip via a post on the social media platform X, emphasizing the EU's commitment to the region.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Kos stated, "I will come to Armenia as soon as possible. Europe's solidarity with Armenia remains unwavering."
The Commissioner also highlighted the launch of a new EU-Armenia joint working group, which officially begins its operations today. This initiative is designed to further deepen the partnership between Brussels and Yerevan, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors. The European Union has been increasingly active in the South Caucasus, seeking to bolster its engagement with regional partners and support stability initiatives in the area.
