The National Hydrometeorological Service, which operates under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, provides daily updates to ensure public safety and support various sectors of the economy, including agriculture and transportation. These transitional weather patterns are characteristic of the spring season in Azerbaijan, where the Caspian Sea's influence often moderates temperatures in coastal areas compared to the more varied climate of the country's interior and highland regions.
