Chimaev offers Strickland rematch and $1 million

Khamzat Chimaev has offered Sean Strickland a rematch and promised to pay him $1 million for the bout. Chimaev posted the challenge on social media.

“Strickland, I’ll pay you one million. Send the coordinates and let’s fight. I don’t care whether it’s in the street or in the cage,” the Chechen fighter wrote.

Chimaev lost to Strickland by split decision in May in a bout for the UFC middleweight championship and lost his title. He has now offered his American rival a rematch.

Strickland previously said he was in talks with the UFC about a fight against Nassourdine Imavov. The sides are currently discussing the fighter’s fee.
