Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), has released significant details regarding ongoing military operations against Iran via his official account on the X social media platform.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, Admiral Cooper stated that the operations involve more than 50,000 military personnel, 200 fighter jets, and two aircraft carriers. The Admiral characterized the current deployment as the largest military buildup the United States has seen in the Middle East in a generation.

Reports indicate that since February 28, U.S. and Israeli forces have struck approximately 2,000 targets within Iran. Cooper noted that these precision strikes have significantly degraded Iran's air defense systems. The military intervention by the United States and Israel began while diplomatic discussions between Washington and Tehran were reportedly still ongoing. In response to the strikes, Iran has targeted Israel as well as several regional countries hosting U.S. military bases.

The military operations have reportedly resulted in the deaths of several high-ranking officials, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. According to the latest data released by the Iranian Red Crescent Society, a total of 787 people have lost their lives as a result of the attacks. Under the administration of US President Donald Trump, the United States has maintained a policy of maximum pressure and strategic readiness in the region to safeguard international security interests and support regional allies.
