The Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper located in Dubai, has been illuminated with the colors of the Azerbaijani national flag.
The Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Dubai reported this event on its official "X" (formerly Twitter) social media account. The diplomatic mission shared images of the iconic structure displaying the blue, red, and green colors of the Azerbaijani flag, accompanied by the crescent and star.
"Currently, the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper in Dubai, is illuminated with the colors of the state flag of Azerbaijan," the post stated. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, such displays are often used to mark significant national holidays or to demonstrate friendly relations between nations. The Burj Khalifa frequently lights up to honor various countries and international causes, serving as a prominent symbol of global recognition and diplomatic solidarity in the United Arab Emirates.
