Araz-Nakhchivan player Charles Boli assessed the team’s 2-1 defeat to Sumgait in the eighth round of the Misli Premier League. The Nakhchivan club midfielder said the team had yet to produce its best performance but had not given up.
“We are working hard and continuously, but we have not yet been able to show our best game. We were ahead after the first half against Sumgait. But then we lost concentration and conceded two goals. We are not giving up. I hope we can win the next match,” Boli said.
He said the team’s current position at the bottom of the table was poor. Boli stressed that they had to work harder and improve every day to change the situation: “Araz-Nakhchivan cannot be in this position.”
The player also said the new coach was working hard with the team. The situation could change through more work, he said, adding that they would try to beat Gabala in the next round.
