Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) made the announcement on the social network “X.”
The sides discussed issues on the OSCE agenda, Azerbaijan-OSCE cooperation, the existing European security architecture and regional peace dynamics in the South Caucasus.
Bayramov briefed Sinirlioğlu on progress in the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process. He stressed that the official closure of the OSCE Minsk Process and its related structures is an important step toward finalizing the post-conflict agenda and aligning institutional frameworks with the realities of the region.
The sides also exchanged views on key developments in international security.
