Bayern president Herbert Hainer has discussed the possibility of extending winger Michael Olise’s contract. According to Bild, the club chief said he hoped the player would renew his deal in the future.
Hainer said Olise’s contract with the Munich club runs until 2029. He stressed that Bayern are not under pressure to sell players and make decisions from a position of strength.
The club president said Bayern could protect their interests regardless of whether Real Madrid or another team showed interest in Olise. In Hainer’s view, the club has a great deal to offer its players.
Earlier reports said Real Madrid had shown interest in Olise for the summer, but Bayern had rejected all offers for the player.
