Baxshiyev expects attacking football in Qarabag-Neftchi derby

Both teams are expected to play attacking football when Qarabag face Neftchi in Round 8 of the Azerbaijan Premier League. Football expert Elmar Baxshiyev said the sides are evenly matched ahead of the derby.

Baxshiyev said both teams would approach the match with strong motivation. He noted that in recent years the teams have occupied different positions in the league table, while this time they have the same number of points and sit at the top of the standings.

The football expert said the winner would gain a psychological advantage. In his view, the team that takes the field with greater motivation could have the edge. Baxshiyev said he expects both sides to favor attacking football.

The Qarabag-Neftchi match will be played at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium and will kick off at 19:00.
