Sabah Bakıda hava yağmursuz keçəcək, rayonlara qar yağacaq

Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to experience changeable cloudy and primarily dry weather conditions tomorrow, according to official forecasts.

The National Hydrometeorological Service informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that while the day will remain mostly dry, there is a possibility of light precipitation in some parts of the capital during the night from the 9th to the 10th. A north-east wind is expected to be replaced by a south-east wind during the daytime hours.

In Baku, the temperature will range between 2-4°C at night and 5-8°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is forecasted to rise from 776 mm Hg to 779 mm Hg, with relative humidity staying between 60-80%. In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is expected, with snow forecasted for mountainous areas. The National Hydrometeorological Service noted that precipitation may intensify in some eastern districts during the morning, though it is expected to taper off toward the evening. Fog is also anticipated in various locations across the country.

Regional temperatures are set to fluctuate between 0-4°C at night and 5-10°C during the day. However, severe frost will persist in the highlands, with temperatures dropping to 8-13°C below zero in the mountains and reaching as low as 15-20°C below zero in high-altitude areas.

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide early warnings for seasonal weather changes. Such fluctuations in temperature and precipitation are characteristic of the winter season in the South Caucasus, where the Caspian Sea's influence often moderates the climate in Baku while the Greater and Lesser Caucasus ranges experience significant snowfall and sub-zero temperatures.
