Current repair works will be carried out in Baku from 08:00 on March 23, 2026, to 22:00 on March 30, 2026, to improve road infrastructure in connection with the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) to be held in the capital.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports this with reference to the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads.
The planned works are scheduled to take place during the holiday period to take advantage of the relatively lower traffic volume in Azerbaijan's capital. According to official statements, traffic will not be completely suspended; instead, restrictions will be applied only to specific lanes where repairs are being conducted. The agency will carry out repairs at a total of 42 locations, covering an area of 151,849 square meters.
