In observance of June 26 – Armed Forces Day, the Baku Metro CJSC has announced adjustments to its train operation schedule. This change aims to ensure efficient passenger transport during the public holiday.

According to information provided by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Baku Metro management has finalized the operational plan for the day. During peak hours, the interval between trains on the "28 May-Ahmedli" section and in the opposite direction will be set at 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

"If necessary, reserve trains will be deployed to the lines. To ensure overall control at the stations, additional staff have been assigned based on a duty roster. Furthermore, trains will operate on the "Bakmil" station route and back according to the Saturday schedule, while the Purple Line and the "Ahmedli-Hazi Aslanov" section will operate according to the weekend schedule," the Baku Metro CJSC stated.

The Baku Metro, which serves as the primary mode of public transportation in the capital, frequently adjusts its operational intervals during national holidays and major events to manage increased passenger flow. These adjustments are part of the transit authority's broader strategy to maintain public safety and service reliability across the city's expanding rail network.
