All bus terminals and stations across Azerbaijan are currently operating in a reinforced mode due to the Novruz and Ramadan holidays. The Azerbaijan Surface Transport Agency (AYNA) told Operative Information Center-OMM that between March 19 and 21, the Baku International Bus Terminal Complex successfully executed 1,080 trips, ensuring the comfortable and safe transportation of 38,613 passengers to their destinations. This figure marks a record high for recent years.

To meet the surge in passenger demand compared to regular operating days, more than 400 additional trips were organized. According to official data, 60 percent of travelers utilized the "biletim.az" portal to purchase their tickets online. Authorities continue to recommend that citizens use the online platform to secure their travel arrangements in a more convenient and efficient manner.

The Baku International Bus Terminal Complex serves as a primary transport hub in Azerbaijan, connecting the capital with various regions and international destinations. During major national holidays like Novruz and Ramadan, the volume of domestic travel typically increases significantly as citizens visit family in the regions. The integration of digital ticketing systems like biletim.az is part of Azerbaijan's broader initiative to modernize public transport infrastructure and enhance the efficiency of the Republic's logistics network.
