Baku changes routes for five bus lines amid roadworks

The routes of several bus lines in Baku have been temporarily changed due to ongoing road repair works.

BakuBus LLC provided the information to "Operative Information Center-OMM".

The company said that, because of repair work around Koroglu Park, bus routes 3, 17, 20, 33 and 88 turn left from Anvar Gasimzade Street onto Mirali Gashgai Street and then continue operating along their existing routes.

Road repair work is also being carried out on Samad Jafarov Street, where route 20 operates, opposite the Fatimeyi-Zahra Mosque.

As a result, traffic in that area has been organized via Surkhay Najafov Street.

Passengers are advised to take the temporary route changes into account when planning their journeys. Such adjustments are intended to maintain public transport services while roadworks are underway in the capital.
