Several bus routes in Baku are undergoing temporary changes due to ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) has released an official statement regarding the adjustments.
The agency reported that traffic restrictions have been imposed due to road repair works currently being conducted by relevant authorities. These restrictions affect sections of Samad Vurgun Street, spanning from the intersection with Fuzuli Street to the intersection with Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov Street, as well as parts of Nazim Hikmet Street, from the intersection with Matbuat Avenue to the intersection with Abbas Mirza Sharifzade Street.
Due to these restrictions, from July 10 to July 12, the routes for regular bus lines 61 and 88A have been diverted to operate via Rashid Behbudov, Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov, and Samad Vurgun streets. Simultaneously, regular bus lines 10, 14, and 18 will operate via Abdurrahim bey Hagverdiyev, Shafayat Mehdiyev, Akim Abbasov, and Abbas Mirza Sharifzade streets.
Furthermore, on July 11-12, due to repair works on Sanan Abdullayev Street (Baksol road) from Ziya Bunyadov Avenue to Karvan Road Turn 1, regular bus line 71 will temporarily operate from the "Azadlig Prospekti" metro station to the address at Sanan Abdullayev Street, entrance 141A.
AYNA regularly coordinates such traffic management adjustments in the capital to ensure public safety and the continuity of public transport services during essential urban infrastructure upgrades. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys in advance to avoid potential delays caused by these temporary route modifications.
