Variable cloudiness and occasional overcast conditions are expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on February 25, according to the latest weather forecast.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a statement regarding the upcoming atmospheric conditions. Drizzle is likely in some areas during the first half of the day, while the northeast wind is expected to be replaced by a southeast wind in the afternoon.

In the capital, the air temperature will range from 3-5°C at night to 6-9°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is recorded at 762 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels staying between 70-80%.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is anticipated, with snow expected in mountainous areas. However, the precipitation is projected to gradually cease during the daylight hours. Fog may be observed in various districts during the night and morning, accompanied by an easterly wind. Temperatures in the regions will fluctuate between 4-7°C at night and 10-15°C during the day, while mountainous regions will see 0-4°C at night and 5-10°C during the day.

The National Hydrometeorological Service, an agency under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, regularly monitors and provides updates on the hydrometeorological situation in Azerbaijan. Such forecasts are essential for the country's agricultural sector and transport infrastructure, particularly during the transition from winter to spring when weather patterns in the Caucasus region can be highly variable.
