Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan have held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral and regional cooperation.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed of the call by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. During the conversation, the ministers exchanged views on the existing strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the UAE, the prospects for developing bilateral cooperation, and mutual activity within the framework of international organizations.
The sides also discussed current topics related to the regional and international security environment, evaluating the impact of global processes on the interests of both nations. Both ministers emphasized their commitment to further strengthening ties across various sectors, including economic and political spheres.
Relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates have seen significant growth in recent years, characterized by high-level official visits and expanding economic ties, particularly in the renewable energy sector. The two nations continue to collaborate closely on global initiatives, building on a foundation of mutual respect and shared strategic interests in the Middle East and South Caucasus regions.
