Azerbaijan’s under-21 football team will play its next match in the European Championship qualifying campaign today.
According to “Operative Information Center-OMM”, the team coached by Rashad Eyubov will face Scotland’s under-21 side away from home.
The match will kick off in Kilmarnock at 10:30 p.m. Baku time.
After eight matches, Azerbaijan have seven points and sit fifth in the group, while the hosts are fourth with 11 points.
The UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition determines which teams advance to the final tournament. Each fixture contributes to the teams’ standings and qualification prospects.
