Azerbaijan’s national under-21 football team played its latest match in the European Championship qualifying stage on Friday.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Rashad Eyubov’s side, competing in Group B, faced Group B runners-up Czechia in the eighth round in Baku.
The match at Bank Respublika Arena was officiated by Irish FIFA referee Aaron Odoud.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Azerbaijan’s U-21 team will play its next qualifying match away against Scotland on Sept. 30.
