In accordance with the military cooperation plan between the defense ministries of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia, the three nations are set to conduct a joint exercise focused on the protection of strategic infrastructure passing through their territories.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the initial planning conference for the "Eternity-2026" computer-assisted command-staff exercise, scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan this November, has been successfully concluded. This information was reported to the Operative Information Center-OMM.

The upcoming "Eternity-2026" exercise is part of a long-standing trilateral cooperation framework designed to enhance regional security and interoperability. Beyond military personnel from the three participating countries, the exercise will involve representatives from the State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Railways. The training scenario centers on the tactical protection and defense of critical infrastructure and communication lines, reflecting the strategic importance of regional connectivity projects in the South Caucasus.

During the planning conference, officials discussed the core themes, objectives, the composition of the joint headquarters, and specific tactical episodes to be executed during the drills.
