In 2027, 3.4 billion manats, or 8.25% of Azerbaijan’s state budget expenditures, will be allocated to the reconstruction and restoration of territories liberated from occupation.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov made the statement at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting he chaired.
“Overall, more than 25 billion manats has been allocated from the state budget for the reconstruction and restoration of the territories liberated from occupation since 2020, including 2026,” he said.
The funding is part of Azerbaijan’s ongoing large-scale reconstruction program in Garabagh and East Zangazur. The program includes the development of transport, energy, utilities, housing and other essential infrastructure in the territories.
