The State Border Service detained 366 wanted persons and prevented illegal entry of 26 individuals during recent operations.

A total of 804 individuals banned from leaving Azerbaijan were prevented from departing the country during recent operations. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the State Border Service has released these figures as part of its latest activity report.

According to the official statement, measures taken against crime resulted in the detention of 366 individuals wanted by law enforcement agencies. These persons were handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action. Furthermore, the entry of 26 individuals who are prohibited from entering the Republic of Azerbaijan was successfully blocked at border crossing points.

The State Border Service also reported that six people were detained for attempting to cross the state border using forged date stamps, falsified passports, or documents belonging to other individuals. Additionally, 58 people were apprehended for violating border regime rules, with appropriate legal measures taken against them. These efforts are part of Azerbaijan's broader strategy to maintain national security, regulate migration flows, and ensure the integrity of its borders through modernized surveillance and strict checkpoint protocols at all land and sea boundaries.
