Azerbaijan sets 2027 budget oil price at $65 per barrel

Azerbaijan has assumed a price of $65 per barrel for Azeri Light crude in drafting the country’s consolidated and state budget projects for 2027.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reported the decision, citing the Ministry of Finance.

The figure is unchanged from the assumption used for 2026.

Azeri Light is Azerbaijan’s flagship crude blend, and oil and gas revenues remain an important source of budget income. The oil price assumption is used in the preparation of the country’s medium-term fiscal projections and budget planning.
