The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has extended its congratulations to Peru on the occasion of its National Day.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry shared an official statement regarding the occasion on its social media account on "X".
"We extend our sincerest congratulations to the people of Peru on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Peru. Happy National Day, Peru!" the statement read.
Azerbaijan and Peru established diplomatic relations in 1996, and both nations have since sought to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including political dialogue and economic partnership. Such diplomatic exchanges are part of Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to foster friendly relations and mutual respect with countries across the Latin American region.
