The Republic of Azerbaijan has dispatched another shipment of electrical equipment for humanitarian assistance to Ukraine from the Sumgait Technologies Park.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the aid was arranged by the Ministry of Energy pursuant to an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev on September 21, 2026.
Organized in response to a request from Ukraine, the shipment includes cables, wires, transformers and other electrical equipment worth a total of 2.5 million Azerbaijani manats.
Azerbaijan has previously sent humanitarian assistance to Ukraine to support its electricity supply. Electrical equipment can help maintain essential power infrastructure, which is particularly important during wartime disruptions.
