A total of 22,130 marriages and 11,678 divorces were registered in Azerbaijan from January through July this year.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reported that the State Statistics Committee released the figures.
According to the committee, compared with the same period in 2025, the number of marriages per 1,000 people decreased from 4.6 to 3.7, while the divorce rate remained unchanged at 2 per 1,000 people.
Marriage and divorce statistics are among the key demographic indicators used to assess changes in family formation and population trends. The figures cover officially registered marriages and divorces during the reporting period.
