Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) is expanding its passenger transport capacity on the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku train route to meet the high demand during the summer season.

This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the joint-stock company.

According to the statement, due to the increased demand for rail travel during the summer holiday and vacation period, additional carriages will be attached to trains departing from Baku starting June 11 and from Tbilisi starting June 12, ensuring that more passengers can be accommodated. "Tickets can be purchased at railway ticket offices, on the official ADY website, and through the 'ADY Mobile' application," the company noted.

The Baku-Tbilisi railway connection serves as a vital transit link in the South Caucasus, facilitating both tourism and regional connectivity. Azerbaijan Railways has been actively modernizing its fleet and digitalizing its ticketing systems in recent years to enhance service efficiency and passenger convenience across its domestic and international routes.
