Police officers in Baku and other regions of Azerbaijan have switched to a reinforced work regime due to ongoing heavy rainfall across the country. The measure aims to ensure public safety and manage the challenges posed by the inclement weather conditions.
The Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) told Operative Information Center-OMM that additional police squads have been deployed to ensure the safety of citizens in connection with the intensive precipitation. Traffic movement on streets and avenues is currently being regulated by State Road Police officers to prevent congestion and accidents.
In addition to traffic management, police personnel are providing necessary assistance to citizens to ensure they reach their destinations safely. These comprehensive security measures, conducted under police supervision, are ongoing throughout the capital and various districts. The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to monitor the situation closely to maintain order and public welfare during the unstable weather period.
