According to the “Operative Information Center-OMM”, Mercedes driver George Russell recorded the fastest time.
Max Verstappen of Red Bull finished second, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was third.

According to the “Operative Information Center-OMM”, the first free practice session started at 12:30 p.m.
The main drivers will also take part in a second practice session today.
The Grand Prix in Baku will conclude on Sept. 26.
The Baku City Circuit is a street track that combines high-speed sections with tight corners in the city center. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix has been part of the Formula 1 calendar since 2016, making practice sessions an important stage for teams to assess car performance and prepare for qualifying and the race.
